Backstory
Founded in 2020, Pine Defence was born from a passion that has always driven me—a fascination with the intersection of technology and security. Growing up, I was captivated by the movie Home Alone. There was something undeniably thrilling about watching a young boy outwit two adult intruders using nothing but his ingenuity and some makeshift “technology.” That spark of fascination only grew as I discovered the world of James Bond—where high-tech gadgets always seemed to tip the scales in Bond’s favor, no matter the odds. The idea that technology could provide an edge, could offer protection and control in dangerous situations, was deeply inspiring to me.
As I grew older, my fascination with technology and security only deepened. I became an avid shooter, finding joy in the precision and focus that shooting requires. But being alone at the range often left me with a nagging feeling—what if something unexpected happened? How could I stay fully aware of my surroundings without compromising my concentration?
This concern led to the birth of our first product, Heimdall 1. Named after the vigilant Norse guardian, Heimdall 1 is a device engineered to enhance the situational awareness for those who, like me, value both security and focus. This isn’t just a gadget; it’s a tool that gives you the peace of mind to fully engage in your activities, knowing that your surroundings are being monitored.
